Gabriel GAVALAS
Gabriel is a Hong Kong based Colour Technician and Professional Hair Stylist. Born in the beautiful and historical city of Athens, Greece, Gabriel developed a love and passion for the hairdressing industry from an early age. Initially starting his career in his native Greece, Gabriel decided to further his knowledge, skills and techniques and trained with the renowned Vidal Sassoon academy in London, UK.
After 2 years of perfecting his craft with Sassoon, Gabriel went on to work for an elite London salon and gained experience and exposure to the artistic and creative side of the industry working at London Fashion Week alongside Britains greatest Session Stylists.
In 2012, Gabriel move to Hong Kong where he has worked the past 7 years developing his skill with continued education and his reputation through his thorough knowledge of blond hair, creating perfect, elegant tones which compliment his clients needs and individual aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from art and fashion, evident by Gabriel’s personal style aesthetic and art collection, it is no doubt his creativity extends to hair colouring and styling. Gabriel has a keen eye and meticulous attention to detail paying particular attention to colour placement and how it moves, reflects light and meshes perfectly with the haircut and style. Hand painting, balayage and ombre are his specialty, but colour is pure passion and an art form which all of Gabriel’s clients can attest to. This combined with his beautiful finishing of the hair has made Gabriel a popular and sort after hair stylist and colour technician in Hong Kong.
